On June 5-6, 2018, on the basis of the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Session «INTEGRAL TRAINING OF ENGINEERS» of the Network International Scientific Conference «INTEGRAL TRAINING OF LINEAR ENGINEERS FOR INCREASING LABOR PRODUCTIVITY IN OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY – SYNERGY-2018» was held at the initiative of the Association of Engineering Education of Russia (AEER).The organizers of the conference SYNERGY-2018:
The event is traditionally held on the basis of the core universities of PJSC Gazprom. This year the conference session was held in onsite remote and online formats. More than 70 people from 20 Russian and foreign (Republic of India, People’s Republic of China, Finland, Spain) universities and organizations participated personally in the conference session, including representatives of the industry. Even more than 50 people from 15 HEI participated remotely.
The program comprised more than 18 reports on modern problems of engineering education, integral training of personnel for oil and gas industry, collaboration between universities and the industry, implementation of dual education technology, as well as mechanisms for ensuring the quality of training engineers.
The second day of the session was concluded by a round-table discussion on the topic «Dual education technology for training engineers»,resulting in recommendations on improving the system of training specialists demanded by industry, on establishing and developing the active collaboration between HEIs, scientific organizations, business and industry.
