ERASMUS +

The new Erasmus+ programme aims to support actions in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport for the period 2014-2020.
Erasmus+ replaces seven programmes bringing together

  • The Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig and Jean Monnet)
  • The Youth in Action programme
  • Five international cooperation programmes (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink, the programme for cooperation with industrialised countries)
  • The new sport action.

  • Key Action 1: Learning mobility of individuals
  • Key Action 2: Innovation and good practices including Capacity-building projects in the field of higher education
  • Key Action 3: Support for policy reform

TEMPUS

Tempus is the European Union’s programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects.

The AEER participates in three Tempus projects:


LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME

The Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) supports learning opportunities from childhood to old age in every single life situation through different programmes as Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Jean Monnet, and transversal key activities.

Within the frameworks of the programme AEER participates in the project "Quality System of S&T Universities for sustainable Industry" QUESTE-SI . The project objective is improvement of specialists training quality in leading technical universities to meet the requirements of industry, grantholder - European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).


ERASMUS MUNDUS

Erasmus Mundus 2009-2013 is a worldwide cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education through 3 different actions: Joint Master and Doctoral Porgrammes, Partnership between higher education institutions and Promotion of Attractiveness of European higher education.

SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME

The Seventh Framework Programme for research and technological development (FP7) is the European Union's chief instrument for funding research over the period 2007 to 2013. It brings together all research-related EU initiatives under a common roof playing a crucial role in reaching the goals of growth, competitiveness and employment.

Its main objective is to further the construction of the European Research Area. Search Service CORDIS is the official portal for participating in FP7 and following related developments in European science and technology.
