Meeting of the revised composition of the AEER Administrative Board was held in the Federation Council in Moscow on May 28, 2019.

During the discussion, members of the Administrative Board approved the results of AEER current activities, supported the work of the Association on ensuring and assessment the quality of education in the process of training future engineer.

The spheres and areas of responsibility of the Administrative Board members were distributed over the Federal districts of the Russian Federation.

The Administrative Board confirmed the AEER work plan for the period 2019-2021, approved creation of a Working group on development of AEER activities aimed to attract foreign students to HEIs of the Russian Federation, and a Working group on drafting a Law on engineering activity in the Russian Federation (in cooperation with the Committee of the Federation Council).

The Administrative Board appointed prof. Krishtal M. M. and prof. Romanov E. M. to organize work on certification of professional engineers and to create a Regional center for certification of professional engineers in "Mechanical engineering" on the basis of Togliatti State University.

Members of the Administrative Board took decision to organize an “Institute of experts” "(representatives of industry for participation in the certification of professional engineers) in the areas of engineering activity (taking into account the specifications of each region).

The Administrative Board approved the proposal of prof. Krishtal M. M. to hold in 2020 in Togliatti scientific and practical conference on issues of export of Russian engineering education.

Members of the Administrative Board highlighted the need to promote the international system of professional and public accreditation of engineering educational programs in Russian HEIs, ensuring the competitiveness of Russian engineering education in the world.
