Conference purpose: to discuss progress trends and methods of improving Russian engineering education and its quality assurance tools as well as proper environment for training competitive engineers. The conference program is designed to analyze and discuss the current state of engineering education quality assurance system and the following elements:

Participants: rectors, vice rectors, heads of academic divisions, deans, heads of departments of technical universities, representatives of legislative, executive authorities and engineering companies interested in best practices of engineering education quality improvement.

The Conference will be held at National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk, Russia. Founded in 1896, TPU is one of the oldest educational centers of Russia. Tomsk Polytechnic University has a “National Research University” status and is one of the 15 Leading Universities of the country. TPU has gained international acknowledgement being a legitimate partner of the following international organizations: European Association of Research Management and Administrations (EARMA), Conference of Engineering Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER), Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research (CLUSTER), European University Association (EUA). TPU consists of 11 research and education institutes, 99 departments. For more than a century the University has trained over 150,000 professionals.
