GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RAEE SPHERE OF ACTION
The Association
carries out joint projects with foreign Engineering Universities and associated engineering associations,
unions and funds dealing with the mutual exchange of students and specialists. It manages
international seminars and conferences in order to exchange the latest knowledge on promoting
hi-tech production to the Russian and world markets, and supports joint projects and
programs.

The Association provides
establishment of multiple contacts which lead to practical programs of cooperation and
long-term exchange between educational institutions, organizations and production
enterprises in Russia as well as in the countries of the former Soviet Union and abroad. |
The
Association has signed an agreement with the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFi) on
establishment and development of mutual cooperation, as well as long term contracts on
collaboration with the American Society for Engineering Education. It has connections with
the Association for Engineering Education in Australia, HEIs of Korea, Hong Kong,
Singapore, Brazil and South Africa. Productive long-term collaboration with European
HEIs has been established.
Only a small part of high innovation potential of Russian engineering HEIs is involved into
domestic and international transfer of technology and know-how. |

The
The Russian Association for Engineering Education is aimed at application of
scientific and technical ideas, projects and technologies, accumulated in engineering HEIs as well as in the process of
innovation transfers of know how, and is ready to collaborate with Russian and foreign
partners in promoting hi-tech production to the world market. |
