Three projects with the participation of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia were selected for funding by the European Commission within the frameworks of the Tempus Programme

TEMPUS is the European Union’s programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the EU's surrounding area. Tempus promotes institutional cooperation that involves the European Union and Partner Countries and focuses on the reform and modernisation of higher education systems in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region.

The overall objective of Tempus is to contribute to the creation of an area of cooperation in the field of higher education between the European Union and the Tempus Partner Countries.

The projects, in implementation of which the AEER will participate as a partner, are the following: «Modern Educational Technologies for Math Curricula in Engineering Education of Russia», «Applied Computing in Engineering and Science» and «On-line Quality Assurance of Study Programmes».

The Association always actively participated in the preparation of project proposals for funding within the Tempus Programme, the most recent project in which the AEER was a partner, was the project "Chemical Engineering: Curriculum Development and International Recognition", with University College London as a grantholder.
