Representatives of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia participated in the Author's Seminar-Training «Modernization of Higher Education. Learning Outcomes and Learning Assessment (LOLA)»

The Seminar-Training was held on June 27-28, 2012 at Don State Technical University.

The moderator of the Seminar-Training was its author, European expert on Higher Education reform Anthony Vickers (UK).

Content of the Seminar-Training:

• Modernization of Higher Education
• Quality Management and Transparency of Higher Education
• Designing Educational Programmes and ECTS
• Introduction into the LOLA Methodology
• Learning Outcomes Assessment Methods
• Learning Outcomes at the Module Level
• Designing an Educational Programme
• Designing a Joint Educational Programme.

The Seminar-Training was held during the organisational session of the Bologna Club, which is aimed at promotion of cooperation and networking of universities and their partners to develop national policies for higher education and effective mechanisms for support of the dynamic and full Russia's accession into the European educational community. At this session, the issues of modernization of higher education were discussed, as well as round table discussions were held on information support for internationalization of the modern university, history of the Bologna process in Russia and its prospects.
